The role of mosques as a platform to convey this awareness message needs to be utilized as best as possible. KUM aspires to increase cleanliness awareness and environmental protection by educating the community to give charity in the form of recyclable items such as paper, plastic bottles, boxes, cans, used cooking oil and many more through recycling collection points at selected mosques in Kelantan.
Wakaf Kitar4Ummah Program Objectives
The community supports the Clean Kelantan Campaign and separates waste at source, which is at home
Reduce the disposal of waste that has value (RM) to garbage bins and disposal sites
Produce human capital (Kelantan community) that consistently practices charitable giving in daily life through recyclable items
Produce an ummah that practices a healthy lifestyle and it all starts at home “Start At Home”
Help mosques receive contributions through charity of recyclable items
Mosques that have implemented charity programs through recycling
