Kelantan, 19 November 2020 – The Used Cooking Oil (UCO) to Cash Exchange Campaign was officially launched by YAB Dato’ Bentara Kanan Ustaz Ahmad bin Yakob, Chief Minister of Kelantan during the Clean Kelantan Program at Dataran Warisan Stadium Kota Bharu.

According to YAB Chief Minister, the state government’s commitment in the effort to make Kelantan a clean, beautiful, and cheerful state requires cooperation from all parties to work hand in hand with Local Authorities (PBT).

Programs and campaign activities from used cooking oil (UCO) can generate side income for the community whether converted to cash, made into biodiesel, soap, soap flowers, candles, playdoh and various beneficial products.

May this campaign help make Clean Kelantan successful and become an example to other communities.
